Small hand-carved oval baroque frame or small mirror in cartouche style.
Description
Hand-carved oval cartouche (cartoccio) frame. Cartouche (“cartoccio”) is a particular baroque style with motifs (generally leaves) that intersect “curling up” on themselves.
The frame is supplied with a antiqued mirror and a glass and it is possible to use it both as a small mirror and as a frame for miniatures.
